Q&A
A: Great question! Kids are definitely welcome on this tour. There's no strict age limit, and it can be a fantastic experience for families. Just keep in mind that the observation decks can get crowded, so make sure to keep an eye on younger ones. Also, you might want to bring a lightweight stroller if you're bringing littles who can’t walk long distances.
A: Weather can definitely impact the experience, especially at the observation decks. If it's raining heavily, the views might be limited. However, the tour still goes on unless conditions are severe. They usually provide ponchos, but it's a good idea to check the weather and maybe reschedule for a clearer day if you can.
A: There are several parking garages in the Midtown area, but they can be pricey! I recommend using public transport if possible since the subway stops are really close to both the Empire State Building and Top of the Rock. If you do drive, just be prepared for some walking to the tour meeting point.

Just did the Empire State Tour! Here's my take
I just got back from the Empire State Building and Top of the Rock tour, and wow, it was amazing! We had early access, so we skipped the crazy lines at the Empire State Building. The views from the 86th floor were something else. Our guide shared some awesome stories about the city too. We walked through Bryant Park and saw Macy's, which was cool. Totally worth it for anyone looking to see NYC from above!
Considering this tour as a gift for my parents!
I'm thinking of gifting the Empire State Building and Top of the Rock tour to my parents for their anniversary! They love NYC but haven't done this yet. Anyone know if it’s senior-friendly? How strenuous is the walking?
