Q&A
A: No age limit that I know of! I took my 8-year-old niece, and she loved it. Just make sure they can handle being on a boat for about 90 minutes. The audio tour is engaging, so it's great for kids who like stories and history.
A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just make sure to contact Blue and Gold Fleet as soon as you know you need to change. They’re usually pretty accommodating. Just keep an eye on their policy regarding no-shows too!
A: Dress in layers! San Francisco can be chilly and windy, especially near the water. A light jacket is a must, even in summer. Don’t forget comfy shoes too, since you'll want to move around the boat while taking pics!

Just got back from the Escape from the Rock cruise! What a trip!
I went on the Escape from the Rock cruise last weekend and wow, it was awesome! The views of the Golden Gate Bridge were stunning, and circling Alcatraz was super interesting. The audio tour with stories from ex-inmates really added a personal touch. I highly recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves a bit of history or just wants to enjoy the San Francisco waterfront. Plus, the 'straight to the gate' access was a lifesaver!
Thinking of gifting the Escape from the Rock cruise - good idea?
Hey all! I want to surprise my dad with something unique for his birthday, and I thought about the Escape from the Rock cruise. He loves history but isn’t great with boats. Do you think he’d enjoy it? Any tips or thoughts?
