Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this scavenger hunt? Can kids join?

A: There's no strict age limit! Families often join in, so it's great for kids and adults alike. Just keep in mind that younger kids might need help reading clues or navigating the city. It’s usually good for ages 8 and up, but if you have a group with younger ones, just be prepared to assist them a bit.

Q: Can I reschedule if something comes up after I buy this experience?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule! Just reach out to Alley Kat Adventures with your new preferred date, and they’ll work with you to find a time that fits. They’re pretty flexible, but giving them at least a week’s notice is best.

Q: What do you wear for this scavenger hunt? Is it a lot of walking?

A: Comfortable shoes are a must! You’ll be doing quite a bit of walking around Austin, especially if you’re hitting multiple spots. I’d recommend dressing for the weather, too—Austin can get hot! Maybe a hat and sunscreen if it’s sunny.

Excited to gift the Escape the 512 experience for my friend's birthday!

I just bought the Escape the 512 scavenger hunt for my friend who’s totally obsessed with Austin. It looks so fun and interactive! I love that it’s customized to our group. I think we’ll hit up the East Side spots. Has anyone done this? Tips on what to expect?

Thinking of doing Escape the 512 for our team bonding event!

We’re planning a team outing and I came across Escape the 512! It sounds perfect for getting everyone involved and having fun together. Has anyone done this with a corporate group? How did it go?
