Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this walking tour?

A: There’s no specific age limit! I took my 8-year-old, and she loved it. The guide is great at keeping it engaging for all ages. Just keep in mind that it’s about 2 miles total, so younger kids might get tired!

Q: What if it rains? Do they still run the tour?

A: Yes, the tour runs rain or shine! They recommend dressing in layers and bringing a waterproof jacket. My friends and I did it in light rain, and it was still a blast! Just check the weather beforehand.

Q: How's the parking situation at Vita at KEXP?

A: Parking can be tricky in Queen Anne, especially during peak hours. There’s some street parking, but I recommend arriving early to find a spot. Alternatively, you can use public transport; the bus lines are pretty good around there!

Just did the Essential City Walking Tour in Seattle!

I just got back from the Essential City Walking Tour and wow, it was fantastic! The guide was super knowledgeable and shared some cool art and history gems I would’ve missed on my own. We started at Vita at KEXP, which had great coffee, by the way! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quick but engaging way to see the city. I’m thinking of gifting this to my sister for her birthday!

Looking to book the Essential City Tour as a gift!

I’m considering booking this Essential City Tour for my parents when they visit Seattle. They love exploring cities but can’t handle strenuous activities. Is this tour pretty easygoing? Also, what’s the best time to go?
