Q&A
A: The best time is definitely late spring through early fall. That’s when you get the most consistent warm weather and clear skies. They do cancel for bad weather, but they’ll usually notify you a day or two in advance. Make sure to check the forecast before you book!
A: Kids are totally welcome! They just need to be supervised. As for dressing, I'd say layers are key. It can get chilly on the water, especially as the sun goes down. A light jacket and some comfy shoes are perfect.
A: Drinks are not included in the ticket price, but they do have a selection available for purchase on board. It’s nice to sip something while you enjoy the view! They usually have a variety of local beers and wines.

Just did the Sunset Sail and it was AMAZING!
I just got back from the Evening Colors Sunset Sail in Seattle, and wow, what an experience! We sailed around the Puget Sound and the view of the sunset over the Olympic Mountains was breathtaking. The crew let us help hoist the sails, which was super fun! We even got to fire the cannon, which felt like a memorable touch. I think it’s a perfect gift idea for anyone who loves the outdoors. Just remember to wear layers!
Looking to gift the sunset sail to my parents!
Hey everyone! I'm thinking about getting the sunset sail as a gift for my parents' anniversary. They love Seattle and have been wanting to try sailing. I'm a bit worried about them handling the boat and if they’ll have fun. Has anyone done this with older folks? Any tips?
