Everglades National Park is unique on our planet. It is a wonderful, water-filled paradise that is best accessed by a quiet, slow-moving, shallow draft boat. One of the best loved residents of the Park are Bottle-Nosed Dolphins. Watching dolphin, in their natural habitat, interacting with each other, something that you will never forget. Our full-time, formally trained, Florida Master Naturalist guides will safely take you deep into the 10,000 Islands of the Everglades. While searching for dolphins, manatees and some of the 300 different species of birds that call the Park home, you will learn about the different Everglades ecosystem, its long history and rich culture. You will have fun and learn a lot. Don't forget your cameras! Note: June through October, we suggest the morning experiences due to the weather.

Q&A

Q: What's the best time to go for this tour? I heard mornings are better?

A: Yeah, mornings are definitely the way to go, especially from June to October. The weather tends to be cooler and you have a better chance of seeing wildlife active. Plus, it can get pretty hot later in the day. So if you can, book the morning slot for sure!

Q: Are there any age limits for kids on this tour?

A: No specific age limit, but kiddos should be old enough to enjoy the experience. Just make sure they can handle the boat ride and stay safe. Companies usually provide life jackets for all ages, so don’t worry about that. It’s a fun trip for families!

Q: How do I get there? Is parking easy at the park?

A: Getting to Everglades National Park is pretty straightforward. You’ll find parking at the visitor center, but it can fill up quickly during peak times. Arrive early to snag a spot. Just check the park's website for any alerts on road conditions or closures before you go!

Just booked the Everglades Wildlife Tour! Any tips?

I just purchased the Everglades Birding, Dolphin and Wildlife Boat Tour for my dad’s birthday! 🎉 He loves nature and I’m so excited to see dolphins. I hope we get to see manatees too! I’m a little worried about the heat since it’s in the summer, but I plan on booking a morning slot. Any tips on what to bring or expect?

Has anyone done the Everglades boat tour recently?

I’m thinking about gifting this Everglades tour to my partner for our anniversary. We both love wildlife, but I’m wondering if it’s worth it? How was the experience for you? Did you see a lot of dolphins?
