Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but they recommend kids be at least 5 years old due to the hiking and boat ride. Most families I’ve seen bring younger kids, as long as parents are comfortable with them walking and being on a boat. Just make sure to check weather conditions; if it’s too hot or rainy, it could impact younger ones’ enjoyment.

Q: Can this experience be rescheduled if the weather's bad?

A: Yes, they have a flexible rescheduling policy. If the weather is severe (like storms), they’ll reach out to you and you can pick another date. Just make sure you call them as soon as you know you can’t make it. They’re really accommodating!

Q: What should I wear for the hikes and boat tour?

A: Wear lightweight, breathable clothing since it can get pretty hot in the Everglades. Good hiking shoes are a must because the trails can be uneven. Also, don’t forget a hat and sunscreen! If you’re doing the boat tour, consider bringing a light jacket, especially if it’s breezy. Oh, and bug spray for the hikes!

Thinking of gifting the Everglades tour — anyone done it?

I'm considering this tour for my parents' anniversary. The idea of them hiking three different habitats sounds amazing! Plus, a boat trip and lunch included makes it so enticing. I read that the guides are super knowledgeable, which is perfect because they love learning about nature. Anyone been on this tour? Would it be a good fit for older folks?

Just did the Everglades hike + boat tour — wow!

I just got back from the Everglades tour, and it was absolutely incredible! We did the hikes and opted for the boat trip. The guide was a biologist, and I learned so much! Saw alligators, manatees, and even a bunch of cool birds. The picnic lunch was super tasty too. If you're thinking about it, go for it! It’s such a unique gift idea.
