This is a premier learning experience in the Everglades Area and is superb for the entire family... from toddlers to the grandparents. Limited to just six guests, it is a personalized eco-adventure. Every day is different in the Everglades and 10,000 Islands so we try to be very flexible and dynamic. The tour may/will include a bit of birding, some photography, strolling thru tidal pools, shelling on a remote beach and exploration of one of the 10,000 Islands. The first part of the experience is a guided boating eco tour in search of the areas rich wildlife. The second part is an interpretive, guided walk on a remote barrier island to explore the island's beaches, tidal pools and inter-tidal zones. Note: June through October, we suggest the morning experiences due to the weather.

Q: Are there age restrictions for the guided tour in the Everglades?

A: No age restrictions! This experience is designed for everyone from toddlers to grandparents. The guides are really accommodating and make sure everyone feels included in the adventure. Just keep in mind to supervise younger ones, especially during the beach and tidal pool exploration.

Q: What should we wear for the walking tour on the barrier island?

A: Comfortable, breathable clothing is key! Lightweight shorts and a moisture-wicking shirt work great. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat, especially if you'll be out in the sun for a while. Sturdy sandals or water shoes are also recommended since you'll be walking through tidal pools.

Q: What happens if it rains on the day of our tour?

A: The tour operates rain or shine, but safety is the top priority. If the weather is really bad, they will reschedule or provide a refund. Just check the forecast and maybe call ahead if you're unsure!

Had the best time on the Everglades tour!

Just got back from the Everglades tour and wow, what an experience! The guide was so knowledgeable and we saw so much wildlife, even got to take some great pics. Exploring the barrier island was so peaceful. If you’re thinking about it as a gift, do it! Perfect for all ages!
