Spend more time with the whales, on our 2 1/2 hour whale watch, aboard Maui's ONLY air conditioned, luxury power catamaran. We are a family owned business with 40 years experience in these waters. We limit our vessels to just 60% of our US Coast Guard capacity so you have an exceptional experience, at a relaxed pace with very personalized care. We serve a delicious freshly prepared lunch with a premium open bar, featuring ice cold micro brewed local beer, hard seltzers, mai-tais, white wines from Napa, and craft cocktails with premium labels. Homemade "baked daily" white chocolate macadamia nut cookies are served after a hearty lunch. As a new product to our luxury line, we don't have many reviews for this tour. The season just started. Q&A

Q: Do kids have to be a certain age to join the whale watch?

A: There’s no specific age limit for the whale watch, so kids are welcome! Just keep in mind that the tour lasts 2.5 hours, so some younger ones might get restless. It’s a great educational experience, though, and the naturalists onboard are fantastic with kids. If you bring young ones, try to bring some snacks or things to keep them entertained.

Q: What should we wear on the whale watch? Is it chilly on the water?

A: Definitely layer up! It can be warm in Maui, but once you're out on the water, it can get a little breezy. Bring a light jacket or sweater, especially if you plan to be on the upper deck for a better view. Also, wear sunscreen since you'll be exposed for a while!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather looks rough, they’ll usually notify you ahead of time to reschedule. They’re really good about keeping safety a priority! Just reach out to them, and they'll work with you to find a new time. Most tours are flexible, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

Just booked the Exceptional Maui Whale Watch for my fam!

Super excited! We’re heading to Maui next month, and I got us tickets for the whale watch. I heard they have a premium bar and delicious pulled pork sandwiches. Can't wait to experience the underwater hydrophone and hopefully see some whales up close! Has anyone else done this yet? Any tips?

Thoughts on the Exceptional Maui Whale Watch?

I’m considering this as a gift for my parents’ anniversary. They’re both in their 60s and love nature. I saw it includes an open bar and homemade cookies! Is it fun for older folks? What’s the seating like?
