Q&A

Q: Is there a weight or age limit for this sailing experience?

A: There's no strict weight limit, but the crew might ask you to stay safe during sailing. As for age, kids 12 and up can join as long as they’re accompanied by an adult. It's a great experience for families, just keep in mind that everyone should be able to handle some light activity on the boat.

Q: What should we wear for the sail? Is it okay to bring our own snacks?

A: Dress in layers since it can get breezy out there! A light jacket and non-slip shoes are definitely recommended. As for snacks, you can bring them on board but keep it simple. The crew provides drinks but check with them to ensure it’s all good for your specific sail.

Q: What happens if the weather turns bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If weather conditions aren't safe, the crew will definitely reschedule or give you a refund if you prefer. They’re super flexible about that! Just keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your sail date, and if it looks sketchy, contact them to discuss options.

Just booked the Afternoon Sail—so excited!

Hey everyone! I just snagged tickets for the Afternoon Public Sail on Hilton Head. I've heard it’s super chill and you can spot dolphins! There’s only 6 guests allowed, which makes it feel more personal. I just hope we get some good weather! Anyone been recently? Any tips?

Anyone else nervous about sailing for the first time?

I’m thinking about gifting this sail to my partner for our anniversary, but I’ve never sailed before! What’s it like? Is it scary? I really want it to be special, but I don't know what to expect. Anyone have tips?
