Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the Pearl Harbor tour?

A: No specific age limits, but I'd say kids 10 and up would get the most out of it. The tour involves a lot of history and some walking, so younger kids might get bored or tired. They do provide a lot of materials that could engage them, though! Also, check with Daniels Hawaii for any specific recommendations based on your kids' attention spans.

Q: What should I wear during the tour? Is it a lot of walking?

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes because there's quite a bit of walking involved, especially at Pearl Harbor. The whole tour is around 7 hours, so dress in layers depending on the weather! I’d recommend a light shirt and shorts or breathable pants. And don’t forget sunscreen!

Q: What happens if it rains on the day of the tour? Do they cancel?

A: The tour usually goes on rain or shine, but if there's severe weather, they might reschedule. It’s best to check the forecast a day before and call Daniels Hawaii if you’re unsure. They’re super accommodating and can help you figure it out! Just bring an umbrella or a poncho, just in case.

Just did the Pearl Harbor tour - AMAZING!

Hey guys! I just got back from the Exclusive Pearl Harbor tour and WOW! It was around 7 hours, and we saw everything from the USS Arizona to the Battleship Missouri. The guide was super knowledgeable, and the virtual reality experience blew my mind! Plus, the walking tour through downtown Honolulu added a great touch to the day. Totally worth it as a gift for history buffs or anyone wanting to learn about Hawaii!

Considering the Pearl Harbor & USS Arizona Tour as a gift!

I’m thinking of gifting this tour to my dad for his birthday. He loves history! Can anyone share their experiences or thoughts? How was the guide, and is it easy to get around the museums? Also, is the walking part manageable for someone older?
