Q&A

Q: Can we reschedule the photography tour if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Rainbow Glacier Adventures allows you to change your booking in case of bad weather, which is great since Alaska can be unpredictable. Just make sure to contact them as soon as possible to find another date that works for you.

Q: What should I wear for the photography tour? Is it casual or more outdoor gear?

A: I'd recommend wearing layers since the weather in Alaska can change quickly. Waterproof shoes and a light jacket are a good idea, especially if you plan to shoot outdoors. Also, don’t forget your camera gear and maybe a hat to shield from the sun!

Q: Is this photography tour good for beginners, or is prior experience needed?

A: It's perfect for all skill levels! The guides at Rainbow Glacier Adventures are super friendly and will help you get the most out of your camera, whether you're a newbie or a pro. They even provide tips on composition and lighting, which is really helpful!

Just finished the photography tour in Haines - so amazing!

I just came back from the Exclusive Photography Tour to Haines and wow, what an experience! The scenery was breathtaking, and we saw so many animals like bald eagles and even a moose. Our guide was super knowledgeable and helped us all get some incredible shots. Plus, the lunch they provided was really good, fresh and tasty! I can’t recommend this enough for anyone who loves photography or just wants to enjoy Alaska’s beauty!

Thinking about gifting the photography tour - need some advice!

I’m considering this photography tour for my brother’s birthday. He loves photography but has never been to Alaska. Is this tour beginner-friendly? Also, any tips on how to make the gift special? I’m thinking of including a nice camera strap or something.
