Q&A
A: Kids as young as 10 can join the ice hiking adventure, but it's really important they can follow instructions and handle a bit of physical activity. They need to be comfortable with heights too, since you'll be near those beautiful crevasses! Just make sure they dress warmly and are excited about exploring.
A: Yes! If the weather is really bad, they will work with you to reschedule your hike. You can usually get a new date within a few days to a week. Just make sure to check their cancellation policy before booking.
A: Definitely dress in layers! You want a moisture-wicking base layer, a warm insulating layer, and a waterproof outer layer. Also, wear sturdy hiking boots (they’ll provide crampons, so make sure your boots fit them). Don’t forget gloves and sunglasses—those ice reflections can be bright!

Just got back from the Exit Glacier Ice Hiking Adventure!
Wow, what an experience! The views were absolutely stunning. We spent the whole day hiking around Exit Glacier and our guide was super knowledgeable about the area. The lunch they provided (that turkey wrap was surprisingly good!) was a nice touch too. I totally recommend this for anyone looking for a unique adventure in Alaska. Just make sure you're ready for a bit of a workout!
Thinking about gifting the Exit Glacier Ice Hiking Adventure
I'm considering this as a gift for my brother’s birthday. He loves hiking and nature, but I’m worried about the price and if he’d be able to handle the cold. Has anyone done this? How tough is it really? Also, any tips would help!
