Q&A
A: Yes, the Raptor experience is generally suitable for ages 8 and older. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. It's a great experience for all ages, but younger kids might need some help with the gauntlet and following instructions. Just make sure they’re comfortable with birds!
A: Dress comfortably and in layers, especially since Reno's weather can change. Wear closed-toe shoes since you’ll be outdoors, and avoid anything too loose that might spook the birds. It’s also a good idea to wear neutral colors to blend in with nature.
A: Yes, you can typically reschedule if you give them a heads up at least 24 hours in advance. They understand that plans change, so just reach out to the provider, Raptor Adventures, and they’ll help you out. It’s always best to check their cancellation policy when you book, though!

Just did the Raptor experience in Reno! Here's my take!
I just got back from the Raptor and Falconry experience in Reno, and it was AMAZING! The falconer was super knowledgeable and made it really engaging. I got to put on the gauntlet and have a hawk fly to me. Definitely a unique gift idea for bird lovers. Plus, they provided snacks, which was a nice touch! Highly recommend it!
Thinking about gifting the Raptor experience, any thoughts?
I'm considering getting the Raptor experience for my sister's birthday. She's into wildlife and nature, and this seems perfect! Is there anything specific I should know before I book? Like the best time of year to go or anything about the location in Reno?
