A: Definitely wear layered clothing! The weather can change quickly at Mt. Rainier, and you'll want to be comfortable. A good pair of hiking boots is a must since the trails can be a bit rocky. As for difficulty, there are various trails, but most are manageable for beginners with some stamina. Talk to your guide if you're unsure about your route!
A: Yeah, parking is usually pretty straightforward! There are a few lots nearby, but they can fill up quickly on weekends, so plan to arrive a bit early. If you’re relying on public transport, the light rail is a solid option to get to the pickup spot from downtown.
A: Yes! They’re pretty flexible with rescheduling due to weather conditions. Just keep an eye on the forecast and reach out at least a day in advance if you need to change your plans. The guides want everyone to have a great experience, so they’ll work with you.

Just did the Mt. Rainier tour and it was amazing!
I took the Explore Mt. Rainier tour last weekend and wow, just wow! Our guide was super knowledgeable and shared cool stories about the Gold Rush towns on the way. Hiking among those massive sequoias was such a highlight! We also had time to explore on our own, which was nice. Honestly, I can’t recommend this enough. Perfect gift for anyone who loves nature!
Considering gifting the Mt. Rainier experience to my partner!
Hey everyone! I’m thinking about gifting the Mt. Rainier tour to my partner for their birthday. They love the outdoors but aren’t really experienced hikers. Is this tour good for someone like that? What’s the vibe like, and how long are we actually hiking?
