Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on this trip?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but I’d say kids around 5 and up would enjoy it the most. The hike to Marymere Falls can be a bit challenging for younger kids, but the views are stunning! Just make sure they’re sturdy enough to walk a bit and can sit on the van/ferry comfortably.

Q: What should we wear for the trip? Is it cold on the ferry?

A: It can get a bit chilly on the ferry, especially if you go in the morning, so I’d recommend layers. Sturdy shoes are a must for the hikes! The weather in Olympic National Park can change quickly, so bring a light rain jacket just in case.

Q: Can we reschedule if something comes up?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just reach out to BARBIL TOURS at least 48 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible unless it’s a last-minute cancellation. So, just make sure to plan ahead!

Just booked the Olympic National Park trip! Any tips?

I just booked the Explore Olympic National Park trip for my family and I’m so excited! We’re a bit nervous since we haven’t hiked much before. I love that the tour includes the ferry ride and stops at cool spots like Animal Farms. Any tips on what to bring or expect? Also, how strenuous is the hike to Marymere Falls?

Just got back from the Olympic trip, wow!

I just did the Olympic National Park tour last weekend and it was unreal! The ferry ride was super scenic, and the stops, especially the one at Lake Crescent, were perfect for some great photos. The guides were super friendly too. I def recommend this experience for anyone looking for an adventure from Seattle!
