Q&A
A: The prime time for viewing the Northern Lights in Fairbanks is typically from late August to mid-April. The darkest months, like December and January, offer the best chances since the nights are longer, but you can still see great displays in early spring. Dress warmly, and be prepared for chilly weather!
A: This tour is suitable for all ages! Just be aware that it can get pretty cold, so make sure younger kids are dressed warmly. They provide hot drinks, which is a nice bonus for everyone, especially on a chilly night.
A: Layering is key! I'd recommend thermal underwear, a good insulated jacket, gloves, a warm hat, and insulated boots. It gets cold out there, especially when you’re waiting for the lights to show up. Don't forget your camera gear, and maybe hand warmers too!

Thinking of gifting the Fairbanks Northern Lights Tour for my mom's birthday!
I really want to surprise my mom with something unique for her birthday, and the Northern Lights tour sounds perfect! I love that it comes with the cabin and hot drinks. Do you think it’s worth it? Anyone have tips for making this even more special?
Has anyone done the Northern Lights Tour with Greatland Adventures?
I’m super excited about this tour! I’ve read amazing reviews about Greatland Adventures, but I'm a bit nervous about the weather. What happens if the lights don't show up? Any personal experiences would be great to hear.
