Q&A
A: Yes, kids aged 6 and up can participate in the Upper Half Day trip! It’s designed to be family-friendly, so your 8-year-old should have a blast. Just be sure he’s comfortable with being in the water, and you’re all set for a fun day. Don’t forget to bring a change of clothes for after the trip!
A: Totally understandable! If the weather is really bad, the company will usually let you reschedule without a penalty. They want everyone to have a great experience, so they’ll keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your trip. Just give them a call if you’re worried!
A: Great question! You can totally wear your swimsuit, but I’d recommend wearing quick-dry clothes on top. The wetsuits they provide will keep you warm, but you might wanna wear something underneath that's comfortable. Also, water shoes or sandals are a good idea since you’ll be getting wet!

Thinking of gifting a rafting trip on the Gallatin River! Need advice.
I'm considering getting the Upper Half Day whitewater rafting trip for my family as a holiday gift. I've heard it’s suitable for young kids which is awesome. Just worried about the weather in June since we might hit some rainy days. Also, any tips on what to bring? I want everyone to have a great time!
Just came back from the Gallatin rafting trip, it was hilarious!
Wow, we just did the rafting trip and it was a blast! The rapids were fun but not too crazy, perfect for our kids. Hilarity Hole really lived up to its name! The guides were super friendly and made sure we were all safe but having fun. Highly recommend this for family bonding! Can't wait to go again next summer.
