Q&A
A: Yes! This hike is perfect for young kids, especially since it’s stroller-friendly. Amber is great with kids and makes it fun by sharing interesting facts about the local wildlife. Just bring a light jacket since it can get chilly in the mornings.
A: Comfortable hiking shoes are a must! The trail is usually pretty dry, but after rain, it can get muddy in spots. Dress in layers, too, because it can warm up quickly once the sun's out. Amber will make sure everyone is comfy and safe!
A: Absolutely! If the weather looks bad, just reach out to Amber, and she’ll work with you to find a new date. She’s super flexible and wants everyone to enjoy the experience. Just a heads up, some days do book up quickly!

Thinking of gifting the Big Bear hike experience! Worth it?
I’m considering gifting the Family-Friendly Nature Hike for my sister and her kids. I love that it’s stroller-friendly and that Amber focuses on local history and nature. My niece is 5, so this sounds perfect! Anyone done this? How was it?
Anyone else love the Big Bear Valley hike?
I just got back from the Family-Friendly Nature Hike and it was awesome! Amber is such a cool guide. She made everything interesting for the kids and the lemonade was a nice touch. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for something fun to do with the fam!
