Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for the rafting experience?

A: Yes! Kids can participate as long as they're at least 6 years old and weigh at least 50 pounds. It's perfect for families since the rapids are Class II-III, which are manageable for younger rafters. Just make sure everyone is comfortable in the water!

Q: What should we wear for the rafting trip?

A: Comfortable, quick-drying clothes are best! They'll provide a wetsuit and splash jacket if needed, but you might want to wear a swimsuit or shorts underneath. Don't forget water shoes or sandals with straps, and definitely bring a change of clothes for after the trip!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad?

A: If the weather conditions are unsafe due to storms or high water levels, they'll reschedule your trip to a safe date. They’re super flexible and will work with you to make sure you get to experience the adventure, so don't worry too much about that!

Thinking of gifting this rafting trip near Colorado Springs!

Hey everyone! I’m considering the Family Friendly Rafting experience in Cañon City for my sister's family. They have kids aged 7 and 10. I've heard it’s awesome with Class II-III rapids, but I’m wondering if it’s really suitable for that age. Also, what's the view like on the way down the river? Any tips would be appreciated!

Just got back from the Family Rafting Trip!

Wow, we just finished our rafting trip in Bighorn Sheep Canyon and it was incredible! The guides were fun and made sure everyone felt safe. The rapids were just the right amount of thrill for our kids, and the views were jaw-dropping. Highly recommend it for families!
