Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but I'd recommend it's best for ages 12 and up since there's some knife skills involved. Kids younger than that might get bored or need a lot of supervision. If you're bringing younger children, maybe call the farm ahead of time to see if they can accommodate you.
A: Parking is pretty straightforward! There’s a dedicated lot right next to the farm, so you won’t have to walk far. Just make sure to arrive a bit early, especially if it's a busy day, to secure a good spot. And it’s free!
A: They usually hold the class rain or shine, unless there's a serious storm or safety concern. If you're worried about the weather, it’s a good idea to check in with them the day before your class. They can update you on any changes!

Thinking about gifting the Farm to Taco cooking class! Any thoughts?
Hey everyone! I’m looking to surprise my friend with the Farm to Taco cooking class at Lā Kāhea Community Farm in Maui. It’s gluten-free and vegetarian, which is perfect for her. I read they get to learn hands-on cooking techniques and even get snacks and lunch included. It sounds amazing, but I’m wondering if anyone has done it? How was the experience?
Is this class good for beginner cooks?
I’m curious about the Farm to Taco class and if it's suitable for someone who's just starting out in the kitchen. My daughter really wants to learn to cook, and I think this would be a unique gift! Can anyone who has taken it share if it’s beginner-friendly?
