Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but I'd recommend it for kids 6 and up. They can really appreciate the dinosaurs and the interactive exhibits. The tour's designed to engage all ages, but younger kids might not be as interested in the details. Just make sure they can stick with the group for an hour!
A: You can definitely go casual! Jeans and a comfy top are perfect since you'll be walking around. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes since you'll spend some time on your feet. Also, the museum can be a bit chilly, so a light sweater might be a good idea.
A: They don't usually cancel unless there's really severe weather, like a blizzard or something. You can check their site before your visit for any updates. If you need to reschedule due to weather, they’re pretty accommodating.

Thinking about gifting the early access tour at the Field Museum - any advice?
I'm planning to get the early access VIP tour at the Field Museum for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves dinosaurs and science! I’m curious about how the tour works and if it's worth the price. Are there any hidden gems I should know about? Also, how crowded does it get after the tour?
My experience with the Field Museum early access tour!
Just did the VIP tour at the Field Museum this past weekend, and it was AMAZING! We got to start in the Griffin Halls before anyone else, and our guide was super knowledgeable. SUE is just as impressive up close! The whole hour flew by, and it was nice not feeling rushed. I highly recommend it as a gift or for a fun day out for anyone who loves history.
