Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the whale watching trip?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but I’d recommend it for kids over 5 years old. The boat is safe and has enough space, plus the heated cabin is great for comfort. Just make sure they can sit still and enjoy the ride as it can get bumpy sometimes. We took our 7-year-old and he loved it!

Q: What should we wear for the fishing/watching trip in September?

A: Definitely layer up! It can get chilly even in September. Wear waterproof gear, like a good jacket and boots. Also, bring some warm layers underneath because the weather can change quickly out on the water. A hat and gloves are also a good idea!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather looks bad?

A: Yes, they’re pretty flexible with rescheduling due to weather. Just give them a call as soon as you can if you see bad weather coming. They want you to have the best experience possible, so they'll work with you to find another date. We had to reschedule ours last minute and they were very accommodating!

Just got back from an incredible whale watching trip with Ear Mountain Charters! The heated cabin was a game changer since it was pretty chilly on the water. We saw a ton of humpbacks and even some sea lions! The crew was super friendly and made sure we had all the fishing gear we needed. Highly recommend this for anyone thinking about it as a gift!
