Q&A
A: Great question! Kids are definitely welcome on the airboat ride at Sawgrass Recreation Park. There's no strict age limit, but I’d recommend checking their height requirements if you have little ones. Just remember to bring ear protection for younger kids since it can get a bit loud on the boat!
A: If the weather looks sketchy, Sawgrass Recreation Park will usually reach out and offer to reschedule your visit. You can also call ahead if you’re not sure. They’re pretty flexible with changing dates due to weather, which is great! Just try to give them a heads up as soon as possible.
A: Definitely wear something you don’t mind getting a little wet! The airboat can splash, especially if it banks hard. Quick-dry clothes are a good idea, and don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen. It can get hot out there, so lightweight, breathable outfits are best!

Thinking of gifting the Everglades airboat adventure—any thoughts?
I'm considering getting my husband the Florida Everglades Airboat Adventure for his birthday. He loves nature and wildlife, and I think he'd get a kick out of seeing the gators up close! I read it’s about a 40-minute ride and includes access to the reptile exhibit too, which sounds cool. Has anyone done this? Should I go for it?
Just got back from the Everglades airboat ride—wow!
I just did the Florida Everglades airboat adventure last week, and it was amazing! The ride was exhilarating, and we saw so many alligators. The guide was funny and shared a ton of info about the ecosystem. If you're thinking about going, wear a hat and sunglasses. It gets super sunny out there! Totally worth the two hours!
