Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this Eco Tour?

A: Great question! There’s no strict age limit for kids on the Florida Keys Backcountry Eco Tour. However, I’d say it's best suited for children ages 5 and up, as they can enjoy the sights and be engaged. Just keep in mind that little ones might need some help with the boat trip, especially if it gets bumpy!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?

A: If the weather looks bad, Keys Boat Tours will usually reach out to you to discuss rescheduling options. They prioritize safety, so if it’s too windy or rainy, they’ll help set up a new date for you! Just make sure you check your emails after booking.

Q: What should we wear on the Eco Tour?

A: I recommend wearing lightweight clothing and definitely a swimsuit! It can get hot out there, and you might want to jump in the water. Also, don’t forget a hat and sunscreen, as you’ll be out in the sun for a while. Flip-flops are good, but consider water shoes if you want to explore more!

Anyone done the Eco Tour? What was it like?

I’m thinking of gifting this Florida Keys Eco Tour experience to my parents for their anniversary. They love nature but I'm not sure if they'd enjoy the boat ride. What's it like? Any highlights or must-sees?
