Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for this eco tour? I'm thinking of getting it for my kids.

A: Yes, kids are welcome on this tour! There's no strict age limit, but they should be comfortable in the water for snorkeling and kayaking. I took my 8-year-old, and it was perfect. Just make sure they can swim and are ready to have fun with marine life!

Q: What should we wear for the kayaking and snorkeling part? Any tips?

A: Definitely wear a swimsuit and bring a quick-dry shirt. Water shoes are great for kayaking, and don’t forget a hat and sunglasses! If you burn easily, think about a rash guard—more protection from the sun and comfy for snorkeling.

Q: How does the transportation work? Is parking available?

A: They provide round-trip transportation from Ft. Lauderdale or Miami, so you won’t need to worry about parking! Just confirm your pickup location ahead of time. If you're driving, there is parking near their office in Islamorada, but it's best to use their transport for convenience.

Just did the Florida Keys Eco Tour—Amazing day!

I just got back from the Florida Keys Eco Tour, and wow, it was fantastic! We kayaked through the mangroves and saw so many fish and even a couple of manatees! Snorkeling at the reef was the highlight—so many colorful fish and sea turtles! The lunch was delicious too. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to explore the Keys!

Considering this for a birthday gift—any tips?

I'm thinking about getting the Florida Keys Eco Tour for my sister's birthday. She loves the ocean but hasn’t done much snorkeling. Would it be beginner-friendly? Any advice on what to tell her to bring?
