There are only a few places is the world you can see this amazing display of sea life lighting up the waters with their other-worldly neon glow.  This is one Florida experience you do not want to miss! What makes this amazing is that the protected wetlands around the area we launch our kayaks has almost no light pollution. This make for amazing visibility of the bioluminescence.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this kayaking experience?

A: Yes, for the Florida Sunset and Bioluminescence Package, kids need to be at least 5 years old to participate. It’s pretty family-friendly, but younger kids might find it a bit challenging to kayak. Just make sure they can follow instructions from the guide!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather isn’t cooperative, BK Adventure will contact you to reschedule your trip. They’re pretty flexible, and it’s best to check the forecast before you go. Safety first, of course!

Q: What should we wear for kayaking at night?

A: Dress in lightweight, quick-drying clothes and definitely bring a light jacket since it can get cool after sunset. Water shoes are great too, just don’t wear anything too bulky. And don’t forget your bug spray!

Just did the Bioluminescence Kayaking and WOW!

I just got back from the Florida Sunset and Bioluminescence Package at Cocoa Beach and I can't recommend it enough! We had a professional guide who was super helpful. The glow of the water was mind-blowing, especially when you paddle and see the streaks of light. We went in early July, and the weather was perfect. I gave this as a gift to my partner and it turned out to be the best surprise ever. Seriously, don't miss this!

Thinking about gifting this experience - any thoughts?

I've been eyeing the Florida Sunset and Bioluminescence Package for my friend’s birthday. She's adventurous but hasn't kayaked before. Is it suitable for beginners? How's the experience overall? I want it to be special! Thanks!
