Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the dolphin viewing excursion?

A: There's no strict age limit, but younger kids would definitely need to be accompanied by an adult. The boat is pretty family-friendly, and I've seen kids as young as 3 go on the trip without any issues. Just keep in mind that they might need extra supervision, especially when getting in and out of the boat!

Q: What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate on the day of my booking?

A: If the weather's bad, they’ll usually reschedule you for another day. They’re super flexible and will work with you to find a time that works. Just make sure to call them ahead of time if you think the weather will be an issue!

Q: What’s the best time of day to go for dolphin viewing?

A: Sunrise and sunset are probably the best times for dolphin viewing! The water tends to be calmer, and the light makes for some amazing pictures. Plus, dolphins are generally more active during these times. If you want that golden hour glow in your photos, go for either of those options!

Anyone tried the dolphin viewing tour at Folly Beach?

I’m seriously considering this as a gift for my parents. They love nature and the beach! I have some concerns about parking and if it's easy to find. Can anyone share how it went for them?
