Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age requirement for the Folly Beach photo walk?

A: Yes, the recommended minimum age is around 12 years old, but younger kids can join if they're accompanied by an adult. Susan’s pretty good with younger ones and makes it fun for everyone! Just make sure they have an interest in photography.

Q: What should we wear for the photo walk? Is it casual?

A: Casual and comfy is the way to go! Since it’s on the beach, lightweight clothes and sandals or water shoes work best. Bring a light jacket if you’re going for sunrise since it can get a bit chilly. Also, don't forget sunscreen!

Q: What if the weather doesn't cooperate? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather’s bad, you can definitely reschedule! Susan is flexible with that, and she’ll work with you to find a new time that fits. Just make sure to check the forecast ahead of your scheduled time. Safety first, right?

Thinking about gifting the Folly Beach Photo Walk!

I found the Folly Beach Sunrise or Sunset Photo Walk and I'm considering it as a gift for my sister's birthday! She loves photography but doesn’t have a lot of experience. It sounds like a perfect way for her to learn more about capturing nature and have a fun time on the beach. Has anyone done it? Is the sunrise walk really worth it?

Just did the Folly Beach Photo Walk, and WOW!

I just got back from the Folly Beach Photo Walk with Susan and it was a blast! The way she taught us about capturing light was super helpful. I used my DSLR, but my friend just had her phone and got some amazing shots too! Definitely recommend it for anyone who loves the beach and photography!
