Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for the food tasting experience, but it's mostly geared towards adults. Kids are welcome, but they might not appreciate some of the more gourmet offerings. Just keep in mind that it's a walking tour, so they should be able to keep up. If you're bringing younger ones, maybe consider asking the provider if they can suggest kid-friendly options!
A: You can park at the lot near State Street or find street parking around the area, but it can fill up fast on weekends. If you're taking public transport, the MTD buses run through downtown regularly. Give yourself some extra time, especially if it's a busy Saturday morning. You’ll want to be right on time to not miss any of the fun!
A: Comfort is key! It's a walking tour, so wear some comfy shoes. Layers are a good idea too—mornings can be cool, but it warms up by noon. Casual outfits work best; just remember you’ll be enjoying some delicious food, so maybe skip the white pants! 🤣

Just did the food tasting tour in Santa Barbara, and wow!
I went on the food tasting and guided walking tour last Saturday, and it was an absolute blast! We hit up 3 amazing restaurants in the Historic Theatre District. The Waffle-Cado Toast was my fave, and we even got this killer donut at the end. Plus, our guide knew so much about the history of the area, I felt like I learned a ton while eating delicious food! Totally worth the price. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Santa Barbara!
Looking to gift the food tasting tour to my parents!
I’m thinking of getting this food tasting experience for my parents’ anniversary. They love trying new foods, and the history aspect is a big plus for them. Has anyone done this recently? What were the highlights? I want to make sure it's a good gift!
