Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the food tour? Can kids join?

A: There’s no strict age limit for the food tour, but keep in mind that it's more geared towards adults. Kids are welcome, but the experience is designed for those who can appreciate the culinary aspects. If you do bring kids, just make sure they’re able to keep up with the pace of the group and enjoy the food!

Q: What if it rains on the day of our tour? Will it be canceled?

A: The tour runs rain or shine! If there are severe weather conditions, they may reschedule for safety reasons. But generally, a little rain won’t stop you from enjoying the food. Just dress appropriately for the weather, and you’ll be fine!

Q: How much food do we get on the tour? Should I eat breakfast?

A: You’ll get a full meal’s worth of food on this tour! It’s definitely substantial enough that you won’t leave hungry. I’d recommend having a light breakfast or skipping it altogether. You’ll want to come with an appetite to fully enjoy the experience!

Just got back from the Food Tour of the Garden District – WOW!

I surprised my partner with the food tour in New Orleans, and it was such a hit! We got to try everything from jambalaya to beignets! The guide was super knowledgeable about the local history too. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience NOLA cuisine outside the French Quarter! It’s pretty much a full meal so come hungry!

Considering gifting the Food Tour – any tips?

I’m thinking about giving this food tour as a gift for my friend's birthday. I’ve never been to NOLA but heard great things. Is it really worth it? Any particular things to know or tips for first timers?
