Q&A
A: There aren't strict age restrictions, but tours generally suit older kids and adults who can appreciate the architecture. Younger kids might get bored since it's primarily a guided experience focused on history and design. Just keep in mind that it's a lot of walking and standing, so little ones may need to be prepared for that.
A: Parking can be a bit tricky! There’s street parking available, but it fills up fast, especially on weekends. I recommend getting there early or using a paid lot nearby. It’s a short walk to the house from those lots, so don’t stress too much if you can’t park right in front.
A: Tours run rain or shine unless there's severe weather. If it’s just light rain, you’ll still go on the tour, but it’s a good idea to dress appropriately and maybe bring an umbrella. If the tour is canceled due to severe weather, they typically allow you to reschedule. Just check their website or call ahead if you're uncertain.

Thinking about gifting the Robie House tour – thoughts?
I’m considering giving my architect friend tickets to the Robie House tour in Chicago. They love Frank Lloyd Wright! I know tours are available Thursday to Monday, but how long do the tours usually last? Also, is it better to book in advance or just walk up? Any insight would be awesome!
Just did the Robie House tour – amazing experience!
Wow, I just got back from the Robie House tour and it was mind-blowing! The architecture is stunning, and our guide was super knowledgeable. I went on a Friday afternoon and it wasn’t too crowded. Perfect if you’re an architecture geek like me!
