Q&A
A: Yes, you can bring your 20-year-old friend! While the wineries will serve alcohol, they typically allow younger guests to join the tour. Just keep in mind that she might not be able to participate in the wine tastings. It’s a great way for her to enjoy the Hill Country sights and Fredericksburg's charm!
A: Totally understandable! Cottonwood Wine Tours typically has a flexible rescheduling policy, so if the weather looks terrible, you can definitely reach out to them to arrange a new date. Just make sure to do it in advance, as they may have a cutoff time for rescheduling. Always good to check their policy when you book!
A: Comfort is key! I’d suggest wearing something casual yet nice—maybe a sundress or nice shorts with a cool top. The wineries can get a bit warm, but you’ll also be outside in Fredericksburg. Also, wear comfy shoes since you might do some walking. Bringing a light jacket can be smart too for the vehicle ride!

Just did the Fredericksburg Wine Tour and it was amazing!
I went on the Fredericksburg Hill Country Aficionado Wine Tour last weekend, and it was a blast! The drive was super scenic, and the wineries we visited (I think we went to three) were all so different and had delicious wines. We even had a two-hour break in Fredericksburg where we strolled around and found some cute shops. Honestly, I’d recommend it for anyone who loves a good day trip out of San Antonio. I can't wait to go back!
Thinking about gifting the Fredericksburg Wine Tour for my friend's birthday!
I want to get my friend something special for her birthday, and this wine tour looks perfect! The idea of exploring Fredericksburg and tasting some local wines sounds so fun! I’m just a bit worried about the logistics, like parking and timing. Any tips from those who have done it?
