Q&A

Q: Is there a weight limit for the sledding experience, and how does that affect ticket purchases?

A: Yes, there is a weight limit! If a passenger weighs over 250 pounds, you'll need to buy two tickets for them. This is mainly for safety and to ensure everyone has a great experience. Make sure to check the total weight before booking, especially if you're planning to go with friends or family.

Q: What should we wear for the dog sledding, and what if the weather is bad?

A: Dress in layers, for sure! A good waterproof jacket, warm gloves, and insulated boots are a must. They usually run even in light snow, but if the weather's really bad, they might reschedule. Just keep an eye on your emails for any updates on that.

Q: How does the pickup/drop-off work from hotels in Fairbanks?

A: They have a pretty straightforward pickup system! Just let them know your hotel when you book, and they'll pick you up right outside. They'll give you a time, so be ready a few minutes early. It’s super convenient, especially with the snowy roads. Just sit back and relax!

Thinking of gifting the dog sledding experience in Fairbanks!

I'm considering this dog sledding adventure in Fairbanks for my sister's birthday. The idea of learning from Alaskan Huskies and getting a free photo sounds amazing! I've heard it’s a blast, but I'm curious about the actual experience. Is it as fun as it sounds? And can I bring my camera too?

Just did the dog sledding, and wow!

I just got back from the dog sledding experience in Fairbanks, and it was epic! The ride was about 3 miles, and those Huskies are just fantastic. We learned how to command the sled, and the guides were super friendly. The free photo service was a nice touch. Highly recommend it to anyone!
