This small-group tour is a fantastic way to observe wildlife as well as take in Grand Teton's beauty and Yellowstone’s numerous geyser basins. We will be making stops at Oxbow Bend, Old Faithful geyser, Yellowstone Lake, Hayden Valley, Fountain Paint Pots and Mud Pots, West Thumb Geyser Basin, the Lower Falls of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, as well as several other geyser basins. Yellowstone National Park’s rich history, geology, wildfires and wildlife will be discussed in detail throughout the tour. Wildlife that is often observed on this tour are bison, grizzly bears, black bears, wolves, moose, elk, eagles, mule deer, pronghorn, and coyotes. We will offer many stops throughout the tour for guests to get out of the vehicle and observe the different wildlife viewing opportunities with the binoculars and scope that we provide, and to walk the various boardwalks we stop at. This tour will include a picnic style lunch that will be served by your guide.

Q: What's the age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but it's generally recommended for kids 5 and up, mainly because of the length of the tour and the type of wildlife they'll see. Younger kids might get restless during the longer stretches, but if they're into nature, they’ll love the stops! Just bring some snacks and maybe a comfy backpack.

Q: Is it easy to reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, BrushBuck Wildlife Tours is pretty flexible with rescheduling. If there's severe weather that could affect safety, they’ll usually give you a call the night before. Just make sure to check the cancellation policy when you book.

Q: What should we wear for this tour? Is it cold in Yellowstone?

A: Layering is key! Mornings can be chilly, especially around Old Faithful, but it warms up as the day goes on. I’d recommend a light jacket, sturdy shoes for walking, and maybe a hat. Don’t forget sunscreen, even if it’s cloudy!

Just got back from the Yellowstone tour, and it was amazing!

I recently took the From Jackson Hole tour and wow, I can't recommend it enough! We saw bison and even a few bears from a distance, which was breathtaking. The guide was super knowledgeable about the geology and wildlife, and the picnic lunch by Yellowstone Lake was perfect. The stops were just the right amount of time, and the scenery was unreal. Definitely a great gift idea for nature lovers!
