Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for the NASA tour? I'm thinking of taking my 10-year-old nephew.

A: There isn't a strict age limit for the tour, but it might be best for kids ages 8 and up since they can appreciate the exhibits better. Just keep in mind that some of the experiences, like the Shuttle Launch Experience, can be intense. I'd recommend it for your nephew, but check in with him to see if he's into space stuff!

Q: How does the rescheduling work if the weather turns bad?

A: If the weather isn't cooperating, you can reschedule your tour by contacting BARBIL TOURS directly. They’re usually pretty flexible as long as you give them a heads up. Just make sure you check the weather ahead of time!

Q: What should I wear for the NASA tour? Is there a lot of walking?

A: You’ll want to wear comfortable shoes since there’s quite a bit of walking involved, especially around the exhibits. Dress for the weather, too! If it’s sunny, a hat and sunscreen are a must. Also, don't forget to bring a light jacket because some indoor areas can get chilly.

Just got back from the private NASA tour and WOW!

I recently did the From Miami Private NASA Tour in SUV with BARBIL TOURS and it was absolutely amazing! We met an actual astronaut, and the Shuttle Launch Experience was so realistic. It’s around $77 for the admission, but everything included (like bottled water and the expert guide) made it worth it. If you have any space lovers in your life, I highly recommend this as a gift. They’ll be talking about it for weeks!

Planning to surprise my husband with the NASA tour!

I’m thinking of getting the From Miami Private NASA Tour for his birthday next month. He LOVES space and rockets! I’m just a bit worried about the age limit since my son will be tagging along. Has anyone had a kid go on this tour? Any tips?
