Q&A
A: No specific age limit, but kids usually love the experience! Just keep in mind that the walk in Muir Woods has some uneven terrain, so be prepared if they're little. It’s best suited for ages 5 and up. If they’re younger than that, maybe consider a carrier or stroller for the walk.
A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes! The trails can be a bit rugged, so sneakers or hiking boots are ideal. Dress in layers since it can get chilly under the trees, and don’t forget a light jacket or sweater. And bring a hat and sunscreen if it's sunny!
A: Rescheduling is pretty straightforward with Tower Tours! Just contact them at least 48 hours in advance, and they'll help you find a new date. It’s good to be flexible since tours can fill up quickly, especially in peak season, so keep that in mind when you’re planning.

Just did the Muir Woods & San Francisco tour—what an experience!
I went on this tour last week and it was amazing! Being on the double-decker bus and driving over the Golden Gate Bridge was breathtaking. Muir Woods was like walking into another world with those massive redwoods. I totally recommend taking the hop-on hop-off bus afterward to check out the city. It gave us the flexibility to explore places like Fisherman’s Wharf and Chinatown. Just a heads up, bring snacks for the bus ride!
Looking to buy this as a gift for my parents!
My parents are coming to visit and I think this Muir Woods and city tour would be perfect! They love nature and sightseeing. Anyone know if it’s easy for older folks? I want them to enjoy without too much walking.
