Along with your exclusive wine tastings, you’ll learn about grape growing, and the natural farming methods, which combine traditional and modern wine making techniques. Each winery will include a flight of 3-5 tastings! During a lunch break on the full day tour, we’ll make a stop at Downtown Sonoma Square where you will enjoy leisure time to explore. Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this wine tour? Can I bring my teens?

A: Yes, this wine tour is primarily geared towards adults since it includes wine tastings at each winery. However, teens can join, but they won't be able to participate in the tastings. It's a great family day out as they'll enjoy the scenery and the lunch break in Sonoma! Just make sure to check with the tour provider for any specific rules.

Q: What should we wear? Is it casual or more dressy?

A: Casual is totally the way to go! Think comfortable shoes for walking around the wineries and a light jacket if you're going in the cooler months. You’ll be getting on and off the bus a bit, plus exploring Sonoma, so you want to be comfy. A little stylish wouldn’t hurt, but it’s not a formal event.

Q: What if the weather's bad? Do they cancel the tour?

A: Typically, the tour will go on unless there are severe weather conditions. They have some indoor activities planned, so rain shouldn't ruin your trip. If you're worried, it's always good to check in with Big Bus Tours a day or two before your tour for confirmation. They can provide the best info on any potential changes.

Just did the Napa/Sonoma wine tour - here's my take!

I just got back from the Napa & Sonoma wine tour and wow, it was awesome! We visited 3 wineries and each had unique vibes. My favorite was this small, organic winery where we learned so much about their farming techniques. The tasting flights were generous, and I loved having time to roam around Downtown Sonoma for lunch. Perfect day from SF! Highly recommend for a gift or just for yourself.

Thinking about gifting the wine tour - any advice?

Looking to gift the Napa & Sonoma wine tour to my wine-loving friends, but not sure if it's worth it. Has anyone done it? What was the highlight for you? Also, curious about the schedule and how the tastings work. Any tips would be great!
