Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for this experience, but it’s recommended for kids 8 and up since some of the hikes can be a bit challenging. The outdoor guides do a great job of adjusting the hikes based on the group’s ability, so younger kids might just need to take it slower. Just make sure they’re comfortable with some walking and being outdoors!
A: Good question! It’s best to wear sturdy hiking shoes or boots with good grip. Some trails can be rocky or a bit slippery, especially if it’s been rainy. If you don’t have hiking boots, any comfortable sneakers with decent traction should work, just be prepared for potentially muddy spots!
A: Absolutely! The tour is designed to be flexible based on what your group wants to see. You can let your guide know your preferences, and they will adjust the plan accordingly. Just keep in mind to discuss this ahead of time to make sure you cover all the highlights you want to see.

Thinking about gifting the Mount Rainier tour - any thoughts?
I’m considering getting this private hiking tour for my partner’s birthday. We love the outdoors and I think this could be an amazing experience! I read it includes stops like the Paradise area and the Grove of the Patriarchs, which sound beautiful. Has anyone done this tour? What was the best part?
Just did the Mount Rainier tour - it was epic!
I went on the Mount Rainier private tour last weekend, and it was one of the best experiences I've had! We did the Skyline Trail hike, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The vehicle was really comfy, and the guide was awesome. We got to stop at all the major spots and even had time for a picnic! Totally worth it.
