Experience the beauty of Mt. Rainier National Park in the comfort of your own private tour. The adventure begins from your hotel, where your personal local expert will pick your party up in a Pearl Chevrolet Suburban LTZ. Work with your tour guide to create the best itinerary and stops for your group. See and experience places within the National Park that our public tour cannot reach. Set the tone for the day by leaning more towards an adventure, hiking-filled day or sit back and relax while you enjoy a leisurely, scenic day on the mountain. It’s up to you! For tours November - April, we can only access the roads in the park which do not require chains. These tours often cannot make it to Paradise, Christine or Narada Falls. We offer snow shoes as a replacement as the majority of the tour will take place at Longmire.

Q&A

Q: Can we choose our own itinerary for the Mt. Rainier tour?

A: Yes! The great thing about this private tour is that you can create your own itinerary with your guide. Whether you want a hiking adventure or a relaxed scenic drive, just let them know your preferences. They’re super flexible and will cater to your group's interests. Just remember that from November to April, some areas may not be accessible due to snow.

Q: What should we wear for the Mt. Rainier tour in winter?

A: Definitely dress in layers! You’ll want a good base layer, something warm like a fleece, and a waterproof jacket. Sturdy boots are a must if you plan on hiking. The tour includes snowshoes, but it's still good to have warm socks. And don't forget gloves and a hat, it gets chilly up there!

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: No official age limit, but it's really geared towards families or groups looking for a more personalized experience. Just make sure your kids are comfortable with potential hiking and colder weather. Also, check with the guide beforehand about any specific needs.

I’m considering this tour for my parents’ anniversary. They love nature but aren't super active. Can this tour be more scenic than hiking? I want them to enjoy the views without stressing themselves out. Any tips?
