Q&A
A: The best time for wine tasting in Eastern WA is usually late spring to early fall, from May to September. That's when the weather is generally nice and the vineyards are beautiful. You'll get to see the grapes in full bloom and maybe even catch some harvest action in the fall! Just check the vineyard's schedule in advance as they sometimes have special events.
A: Yes, there's no strict age limit, but since it's a wine tasting tour, anyone under 21 won't be able to participate in the tastings. However, they can still join the tour and enjoy the scenery and the food pairings! Just make sure to check if the vineyard allows underage guests.
A: Casual is definitely the way to go! Think comfy yet stylish—like sundresses or nice shorts if it’s warm. And don’t forget good shoes since you might be walking around the vineyard. Also, layers are smart since it can be cooler in the morning and warmer in the afternoon!

Just did the wine tasting at VanArnam Vineyards—amazing experience!
I recently took the wine tasting tour from Seattle to VanArnam Vineyards, and I can’t recommend it enough! The drive over Snoqualmie Pass was breathtaking, and the Yakima Valley views were stunning. The wines were delicious, especially the red blends! The guide was super knowledgeable. We also had food pairings from Tin Roof Grill which were fantastic. I’m thinking of gifting this to my friends for their anniversary!
Considering gifting the wine tasting—anyone tried it?
I’m looking to buy this wine tasting experience for my partner’s birthday. I love the idea of a scenic drive and relaxing at a vineyard. Can anyone tell me about the wine selection? Is it good? Also, did you feel rushed during the tastings?
