Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the Fruit Valley Trolley Tour?

A: No specific age limit! Families often bring kids along, and it’s a great way to introduce them to nature and local history. Just keep in mind that younger kids might need a little extra supervision on the trolley, especially when taking photos at Panorama Point. It's a super fun experience for all ages!

Q: What should I wear for the Fruit Valley Trolley Tour?

A: Dress in layers! It can get a bit chilly on the trolley, especially if you go in the morning. Comfortable shoes are a must since you’ll be walking around the lavender farm and fruit stand, plus a hat and sunglasses wouldn’t hurt for those sunny days. Don’t forget your camera!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of the Fruit Valley Trolley Tour?

A: The tours happen rain or shine, but they’ll let you know if it’s unsafe to go. If you need to reschedule, contact Gray Line of Portland as soon as you can. They’re pretty flexible with changes for weather-related issues. Just check the forecast and plan accordingly!

Thinking of gifting the Fruit Valley Trolley Tour!

I'm considering the Fruit Valley Trolley Tour for my parents’ anniversary. They love the outdoors and I think the views of Mt Hood and the lavender farm would be perfect for them. I just hope they’ll enjoy the narrated history part too. Has anyone done this before? How was it?

Did the Fruit Valley Trolley Tour this weekend!

Just got back from the Fruit Valley Trolley Tour and wow, the views did NOT disappoint! Stopped at this cute fruit stand and got some fresh peaches. The lavender farm smelled heavenly! Just a heads-up, the narration was really interesting, but some parts were a bit lengthy. Overall, highly recommend it!
