Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There's no official age limit, but it’s best for kids ages 5 and up since the tour involves some walking and time on the boat. Younger kids might enjoy it too, but just keep in mind they’ll need to be able to sit still for a while. If you’re bringing young ones, just make sure they’re comfortable with boat rides!

Q: Is the boat ride rough? I get seasick easily.

A: The boat ride is usually pretty smooth since they stick to calmer waters around the mangroves. If it's a windy day, it might get a little bumpy, but they assess conditions before leaving. I’d recommend bringing some seasickness meds just in case. Better safe than sorry!

Q: How roughly long is the tour, and what should we wear?

A: The whole day tour lasts about 6-8 hours, depending on traffic and how long you want to spend at lunch and the marina. I suggest wearing light, breathable clothing and definitely a hat and sunscreen since you’ll be outdoors a lot. Comfortable shoes are a must for the nature walk too!

Thinking about the Ft Lauderdale to Islamorada Tour – worth it?

Hey everyone! I'm considering this tour for my girlfriend's birthday. The whole boat ride and nature walk sound amazing, and I love that lunch is included! Has anyone done this yet? How’s the food? Also, is the drive from Lauderdale a hassle? Just need some opinions before I book!

Just came back from the Islamorada tour—awesome experience!

I just wanted to share my experience of the Ft Lauderdale to Islamorada tour. The nature walk was beautiful, and we saw so many birds! The boat ride was really fun, and our guide made it super informative. Lunch was at this gorgeous seaside spot, and I absolutely loved the shrimp tacos. Highly recommend this as a gift for anyone!
