Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this Alaskan adventure?

A: There's no strict age limit, but I recommend checking with the tour provider. The hike to the Ice Cave might be challenging for younger kids. Most folks I've seen bring teens or adults. Just make sure everyone is in decent shape for the hike!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Do they cancel the hot springs?

A: Weather in Alaska can be unpredictable! Typically, if the conditions are unsafe, they’ll reschedule or offer a full refund. The hot springs are a part of the experience, so they usually try to keep that. Just be flexible - it's all part of the adventure!

Q: What should I wear for the ice cave hike?

A: Dress in layers! It can get cold in the caves but warm outside. Waterproof boots are a must, and don’t forget gloves and a beanie. You want to stay warm but be able to move easily! The guide will give you tips, too.

Has anyone done the Full Alaskan Experience? I’m considering it as a gift!

I’m looking at this Full Alaskan Experience for my partner's birthday. The idea of hiking to an ice cave and soaking in hot springs sounds amazing! Also, chasing the Aurora Borealis? Yes, please! Just wondering if it’s worth the price and if anyone has any tips for first-timers.

Need advice for the Full Alaskan Experience trip!

Thinking about booking this Full Alaskan Experience for my family of five. We’re all in decent shape but never hiked in winter before. Do you think we can handle the ice cave hike? Any must-have gear we should bring?
