Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 6 years old and able to wear a life jacket comfortably. The guides are great with kids and make the experience fun! Just keep in mind that some of the paddling can be a bit strenuous, so make sure your kids are up for it. Also, the canoe ride is pretty stable, but it's good to prepare them for some bumpy moments!
A: Definitely dress in layers! The weather in Alaska can be unpredictable. Wear moisture-wicking clothing and bring a good waterproof jacket. They provide rubber boots, but I’d recommend wearing comfy pants that can get wet. And don’t forget a hat and sunscreen because you’ll be out on the water for a while.
A: If the weather looks sketchy, the guides will usually check in with everyone the day before. They’re super accommodating! If the trip gets canceled due to weather, you can reschedule for another day with no extra charge. So, it's pretty flexible.

Thinking about gifting the Full-Day Alaska Wildlife Canoe Safari. Anyone done it?
Hey everyone! I’m looking into this canoe safari in Skagway as a gift for my brother’s birthday. He loves the outdoors, and the idea of paddling around Chilkoot Lake sounds amazing. Has anyone done this? How was the lunch? Any tips on what I should know before booking?
Questions about the canoe safari logistics!
I’m planning on booking the Full-Day Alaska Wildlife Voyageur Canoe Safari for my family and I have a couple of questions. How's the parking situation in Skagway? I’m worried about logistics since we’ll have kids in tow. Is it easy to get to the catamaran?
