Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the catamaran?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but the experience is usually best for kids aged 5 and up. The crew is great with younger kids, though; they have life jackets and provide a safe environment for all ages. Just keep in mind the activities like snorkeling might be better suited for older kids who can swim well.

Q: What’s the best way to reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: If the weather looks iffy, just give Sweet Escape Charters a call or shoot them an email. They’re pretty flexible about rescheduling, especially if safety is a concern. Just try to do it at least a day in advance, and they should be able to find another date that works for you.

Q: What should we wear for a day on the catamaran?

A: Wear a swimsuit and bring a cover-up for when you're lounging. It's also a good idea to have a hat and sunglasses to protect from the sun. Flip-flops or water shoes work great. Don't forget a light jacket for later in the evening since it can get a bit chilly during the sunset sail.

Just got back from the catamaran experience in St. Pete - WOW!

We did the Full Day and Sunset catamaran trip last weekend, and it was amazing! The captain and first mate were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Swimming at Egmont Key was breathtaking, and the charcuterie board was a hit with everyone. The sunset sail back was the perfect end to the day. Totally recommend this for anyone looking to celebrate something special!

Looking to gift this experience - any tips?

I'm thinking about gifting the catamaran trip to my parents for their anniversary. They love the beach and activities. Any tips on how to make it extra special? Also, how was the food? I'd love to hear more about the charcuterie board!
