Q: What should I wear for the rafting adventure? Is it cold in September?

A: In September, the weather can be a bit chilly, especially in the morning. I'd recommend wearing quick-dry clothes, a swimsuit underneath, and bringing a light jacket for after you get out of the water. The wetsuit rental is included, so that really helps with keeping warm during the ride. Just make sure to wear water shoes or sandals that you don't mind getting wet!

Q: Are kids allowed on this rafting trip, and what age is appropriate?

A: Yes! Kids as young as 7 are allowed to join the Bighorn Sheep Canyon trip, so it's perfect for family outings. Just keep in mind that they should also be able to follow instructions and be comfortable in water. The guides are great with families and they make sure everyone has a fun and safe experience!

Q: How do the logistics work? Is parking difficult at the site?

A: Parking is pretty straightforward! There's a designated area near the starting point for the trip, and it’s not usually crowded. They provide transportation to and from the river, so once you're at the meeting point, you can relax and let them handle the rest. Just arrive about 30 minutes early to get checked in and ready to go.

I'm really considering getting this for my family's summer outing! I love the idea of a full day on the Arkansas River and all the nature. The fact that it’s family-friendly and led by a Christian ministry is a big plus for us. Just worried if my parents will be okay with the rapids. Would it be too intense for them?

Just got back from the full-day rafting adventure and wow, what a day! The scenery was breathtaking, and the guides were super professional but fun. We saw actual bighorn sheep! The river-side lunch was tasty too. If you’re thinking about this gift experience, just go for it!
