In the morning, meet your guide and tour group at the National Archives Building to begin this comprehensive tour around Washington DC. Travel aboard an air-conditioned, deluxe coach with a guide who knows the city inside and out. Drive by more Washington DC’s top sights, with stops at 10 of them, including the United States Capitol, White House, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, and more. Along the way, hear the historic stories and facts that make the city one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States. There is a lunch break roughly halfway through the day (own expense). This tour also features a scenic boat cruise along the Potomac River (seasonally, typically mid March to mid October), or a stop at the Jefferson and Air Force Memorials when boat not operating. Opt to also upgrade to include admission to the Washington Monument, National Air and Space Museum, or the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? I want to get it for my grandparents.

A: There's no strict age limit for this tour, so it's suitable for all ages! Just keep in mind that some of the stops may involve walking or standing for a bit, which could be challenging for some seniors. The guide is pretty accommodating and will manage the pace to ensure everyone has a good time.

Q: What should I wear for the boat cruise part? Is it formal?

A: You can keep it casual! Most people wear comfortable clothes, especially since you'll be out in the sun. Just make sure to bring a light jacket or sweater since it can get a bit breezy on the water. And definitely wear something comfortable for walking around the city!

Q: How do I handle lunch? Is there a place to eat near the Georgetown Harbor?

A: Yes, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes around Georgetown Harbor! You’ll find options from casual eateries to sit-down places. Just remember that lunch is on your own expense, so plan accordingly. It's a great chance to try some local spots!

Thinking about booking the Full Day DC Tour for my parents!

Hey all! I’m considering getting the Full Day DC bus tour + boat cruise for my parents' anniversary. They love history and sightseeing. Has anyone done this tour? What were the highlights? Also, how's the boat cruise experience? I want to ensure it’s worth it!

Just booked the DC bus tour! So excited!

I finally pulled the trigger and booked the Full Day DC tour for next month. I've lived in DMV for years but never done one of those bus tours. I can't wait to see all the sights with a guide this time! Any tips on what to bring?
