Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for participants on this photography tour?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but it's best suited for teens and adults. The tour involves some hiking and a fair amount of time spent outdoors, so younger kids might find it challenging. Just make sure whoever you’re gifting it to has a basic understanding of their camera gear!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Do we get to reschedule?

A: Yes, if the weather conditions are unsafe, you can definitely reschedule. The provider is pretty accommodating about that. Just keep in mind that wildlife photography is often best during early morning or late evening, so they'll work with you to find the best time!

Q: What should I wear for the full day in Yellowstone?

A: Dress in layers! The mornings can be chilly, especially in early spring or fall, and you’ll want to be comfortable for the hiking. Sturdy shoes are a must, and bring a light rain jacket just in case. Don’t forget your camera gear, too!

Just did the Yellowstone Wildlife Photography Tour!

I can’t recommend the Full Day Guided Wildlife Photography Tour in Yellowstone enough! We explored Lamar Valley and got to see bison, elk, and even a grizzly bear from a distance. The tips on long-lens photography were super helpful, and I feel like I’m getting way better at capturing wildlife. The guides were really knowledgeable too, which made the experience even better. Definitely worth the price!

Thinking of gifting the Yellowstone Photography Tour!

I’m planning to get this experience for my boyfriend’s birthday! He loves photography but hasn’t had much practice with wildlife shots. The tour seems perfect for him! I’m just wondering if we need to bring our own snacks and drinks for the day.
