Q&A

Q: Can I ride the e-bike if I've never ridden one before? Are there any age limits?

A: Definitely! The e-bikes are super user-friendly, and they’ll give you a quick safety orientation before you hit the road. As for age limits, kids can ride if they’re at least 16 and can handle a bike. Just make sure they’re comfortable on two wheels, and everyone will have a blast.

Q: What happens if it rains? Can we reschedule the rental?

A: If it rains, you can definitely reschedule! Just give them a call, and they’ll help you set up a new date. They’re pretty flexible with changing plans, especially if you’re worried about the weather. It's better to get the full experience than ride in the rain!

Q: What's the best route to take if we want to stop for lunch? Any recommendations?

A: You should definitely check out the route that takes you through Spanish Bay! There are some awesome spots like The Beach House for a relaxed lunch with a view. Plus, you can grab a sandwich at Carmel's little cafes. Just let the staff know your plans, and they can tailor the timing for you to enjoy lunch without rushing.

Thinking of getting the eBike rental for my parents! Any tips?

I’m considering gifting my parents the Full Day eBike rental along the 17 Mile Drive. They love the outdoors but are both in their 60s. Do you think this would be a good fit for them? I'd love to hear any experiences or tips for first-timers!

Just did the eBike rental! Here's my review:

Wow, what a fantastic day! We rented the eBikes from Big Sur Adventures and rode along the coastline. The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially at the Lone Cypress. We stopped for lunch in Carmel, and the service was top-notch. Definitely do the sunset ride back! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great day out!
